Borehole Users Conference 2015

Aug 17, 2015

ALS Environmental are delighted to announce that we will be both presenting and exhibiting at the 3rd annual Borehole Users Conference (BUC), organised by Envireau. The event will take place at the Raddison Blu, East Midlands Airport on Wednesday 28th October 2015.

The BUC conference will explore the importance of borehole design, particularly relating to water quality, cost and minimising risk of failure. The conference will provide customers with the opportunity to discuss their laboratory requirements with the team at ALS as well as meet with influential industry figures from the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI).

Book your space at the BUC 2015 here.

With a Centre of Excellence for Drinking Water at our laboratory in Wakefield, Yorkshire, ALS Environmental are your perfect analytical partner. We help support major Utility clients to provide safe Drinking Water to over 5 million homes across the UK by supporting Yorkshire Water, Southern Water & Bristol Water to name but a few.

ALS can provide additional sampling and analytical support with Drinking Water Testing Standard (DWTS) accredited Drinking Water sampling services and two DWTS accredited laboratories in the UK (Coventry & Wakefield) for microbiology analysis, such as Coliforms and Enterococci, and Cryptosporidium. All of our positive microbiology samples are confimed using our revolutionary MALDI-ToF confirmation approach which offers an instant confirmation with a full speciation in over 98% of environmental samples.

More details on MALDI-ToF confirmations can be found here.

Upon being asked to speak at the BUC 2015 conference, Nick Barsby, Sales and Marketing Manager at ALS Environmental comments:

ALS Environmental have exhibited at the BUC event over the last couple of years and found the quality of the delegates and speakers to be of an exceptional standard.

It is a privilege to be asked to speak at such a key industry event and I am sure we can help enlighten the end users as to the role of the laboratory in the process.
