BACS Seminar on Water Treatment & Legionella Control

The British Association for Chemical Specialists (BACS) held a seminar on Wednesday 2nd April 2014 to discuss “What is new in Water Treatment and Legionella Control” and ALS Environmental were one of the specialist exhibitors at the event. BACS is a UK-based trade association for all aspects of water treatment and Legionella control; the association represents companies in the speciality chemicals supply chain including many companies supplying speciality chemicals, equipment and support services.

The event was aimed at professionals who have a vested interest in water treatment and Legionella control, with some of the key topics covering recent changes to ACOP L8 and the updated guidance in HSG 274. Attended by representatives from the HSE and Industry specialists the seminar provided all delegates with the chance to improve their knowledge in an understandable and easily digested manner. The event had presentations from industry experts on a broad range of topics including:

  • Sustainable Compliance

  • HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 & 3

  • Chemical Responsibility

  • Training and Competence
