ALS, along with LQM and Tetra Tech have been appointed by the Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) to write guidance on poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in soil and water environments.

The objective of this research project is to improve the current understanding of PFAS in risk assessment and increase awareness of relevant legislation.  The guidance will help UK practitioners assess and manage risks from this group of contaminants.  Further information is available at CIRIA’s website: CIRIA PFAS RP1145.
