ALS Environmental have today (Monday 13th April) announced that we have undertaken an expansion to our sample drop-off facilities. The expansion will see 5 new locations open to increase our geographical profile to support our in-house refrigerated collection vehicles.

The 5 new drop-off locations are based in:

• Inverness
• Paisley (Glasgow)
• Liverpool
• Shrewsbury
• Cambridge

The additional drop-off locations increase the ALS Environmental portfolio of drop-off locations to 13, with additional locations to be added throughout 2015. The 13 drop-off locations are complementary to our analytical laboratories in Chester, Coventry and Wakefield and our service centre in Dublin, Ireland.

Customers who wish to use any of the ALS drop-off locations are respectfully requested to confirm the booking with our Customer Services team prior to dropping samples off - this enables your samples to be given a tracking consignment number which adds additional peace of mind for customers and increased viability of your samples to our in-house logistics and registration teams.

Commenting on the increasing portfolio of drop-off locations, ALS Environmental's Customer Service and Interface Manager Belinda MacLachlan comments:

Following conversations with our customers, we are delighted to announce an increase in sample drop-off locations at key geographical points for our customers. These locations will be temperature controlled to comply with sample stability guidance. All samples submitted to ALS via these locations will be transported overnight to the laboratory for registration and processing.
