Recommended Changes to Payment Methods

Mar 19, 2021

ALS Environmental would like to recommend to all clients that payment via banker’s cheque to settle their accounts is discouraged. During these unprecedented times, ALS has been working very hard to support our staff and clients safety by following the government’s guidelines on social distancing.

To ensure minimal contact is carried out, we feel the best solution all round is to encourage our clients to use our alternative options, settling your credit account via a contactless method.

We offer the following comprehensive ways you can settle your account:

Our COVID-19 business continuity team has continued to meet regularly to monitor the effects of the pandemic and co-ordinate the rapid implementation of any actions required by our business to protect, so far as we can, our staff and stakeholders from the risk of COVID–19 infection in the workplace and ensure that we are fully compliant with government guidance and regulations as these evolve.

As designated key workers, all our staff are continuing to work very hard to ensure that we maintain our service levels. We are confident that the arrangements we have implemented are robust in providing a COVID Secure work place and while we do have a number of staff unavailable for work, due to the requirement to self-isolate these numbers remain to be well within the range our planning assumptions.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and review, as you know, the UK is still under national lockdown in response to the increasing level of COVID-19 infections reported across the country.
